Our College faculty and specialty consultants can assist with several kinds of needs:

• Technical research through contractual relationship,
• Collaborative grant writing which assumes a grant source and common interest,
• Possible use of laboratory space for product development or testing,
• Assistance with professional conference planning,
• Referral to the internship office or recruiting office for hiring, job fairs and more,
• Linkage to faculty and student teams for Senior Design projects,
• Referral to the Alumni and Corporate Relations Office for special alumni events,
• Employee training on topics of faculty/consultant expertise, including:
• Contract academic degree programs offered on-site,
• Contract credit courses offered on-site,
• Special courses for employees using our hands-on laboratories,
• On-site professional development courses for your group of employees,
• Coordination of a public program offered at your facility.

Our Facilities

NIU-CEET offers 36 specialized, modern laboratories. Corporate clients may access labs for contract research or product development or for hands-on employee training.
